State Meet - Thur - Sat, May 2 - 4
PROGRAM
You can download a PDF copy of the program for the Cornhusker Trapshoot from the website's Information page. You'll find lots of good information in the program, including trap schedules, parking info, and available awards.
SENIORS
16-Yard Event. The 16-yard event for Seniors will be on Friday. We'll start shooting at approximately 8:00 AM and run one squad after the other on the same trap until we're done. Each squad will have 40 minutes to shoot 75 targets from 16 yards. Time limits will be enforced, so you must bring all of your ammo to the line with you so that you may start each new round quickly. You are not supposed to return to the gun rack between rounds. Coaches and parents will be there to assist you (e.g. hold your gun etc) while you get your next box of ammo between rounds.
Handicaps. Seniors will shoot handicaps on Saturday. You will again shoot three rounds (75 targets). You MUST bring all of your ammo to the line with you. We will not know final handicap squad assignments until Friday afternoon or evening, after all of the day's 16-yard scores have been tallied. Once handicap squads are available, they'll be posted in the trapapp at trapreports.com. For handicaps, coaches will help direct you as much as possible to where you need to be and when, but our shooters will be spread out up and down the range across 24 traps, so it will be up to each shooter to make sure that he or she is at the correct trap, on time!
TIME LIMITS
Time limits for shooting are enforced at this meet! You MUST bring all of your ammo to the line with you. Leave the ammo boxes for your next rounds behind you at your lane so that you can get ready for each next round quickly. Parents can help, but shooters WILL NOT be allowed to return to the gun racks between rounds. Don't rush, but don't dawdle either. If your empties pouch won't hold all of your empties, you'll either have to bring a bigger pouch or quickly dump some of them in the trash between rounds. You may not discard empties on the ground! Parents, you might consider helping by bringing an empty bag to your shooter between rounds to quickly grab some empties.
SAFETY RULES
Remember your safety rules! These rules will be enforced. Failure to follow these rules could lead to your disqualification!

DO NOT park out in the field on the east side of Nine Bridge Road, or along Nine Bridge Road to the east side of the grounds, or on the north side of W. Walt Ave, which is the east/west residential street immediately to the south of the grounds . If you park in these areas, your car may be ticketed and towed. Also, do not park in someone's camping space. All of the camping spaces are taken, and people do not want you parking in their spaces. See page 5 of the program for more information on parking;
TAILGATING
Our team tailgating and gathering area will be at Campsite B, at the East end of the grounds, second camper space North of the entrance to the grounds (look for the team flag). The team trailer will be there, along with snacks and drinks. You can rack your guns in the rack outside of the trailer or in the trailer. You can leave your gear over there too, but please don't leave it in a big mess strewn all over the place. One of our families will also be camping there and are gracious enough to share the space with the rest of us, so please be respectful of their camper and their space.
BATHROOMS
As it was last year, the Administration Building (Clubhouse) will be closed to all but coaches and shoot management. This includes the bathrooms in the building. There will be port-a-potties around the grounds as usual. Little-known fact: There are also bathroom facilities in the Rock House, which is just to the Southeast of the Admin Building/Clubhouse. As far as I know, these facilities will be open. Enter on the North side of the building.
