Meet 2- Sat, Mar 23 - Ashland
The 2nd ECTC Central Division Trap Meet is on Saturday, March 23, starting at 7:30 AM, at the Ashland Gun Club. Squad assignments are at the bottom of the page.
Directions. The Ashland Gun Club is located at 426 Co Rd C, Ashland, NE 68003. For those who haven't been there in a while, you can no longer get to the club directly from Highway 66. So...
Parking. Car pool if you can. If you can't find a place to park on the club grounds, you may park along old County Road C, but you may NOT park on the new Highway 66. Police will ticket and tow vehicles parked on Highway 66. Some of the usual parking areas are still wet, so you may want to drop some cars at the High School (west, on Furnas street, at 1842 Furnas) and carpool from there to the meet. Please do not park in roped off area. You can also park in town and car pool to the club. People from the same team should double and triple park in the club's lot, one behind the other, to make best use of space.
Porta-potties will be available behind Traps 3 and 6. Another one for ladies only will be available east of the clubhouse.
Awards. There will be no awards ceremony. When they are ready, awards will be picked up by team coaches, to distribute to their team members at a time convenient to each team.
Departing the Club. Club managers ask that when you leave the facility, you do so while driving in a reasonable and legal fashion. Please do not drive onto Highway 66 from the parking lot or from County Road C (i.e., don't cross the grass from Co. Rd. C to Hwy 66).
Tailgating. Look for the team trailer and tent to find our team area. We will be located to the East of Trap 1.
Snacks and Drinks. If you'd like to help by bringing some snacks and/or drinks to supplement the tailgating meals (emphasis on drinks this week), then please sign up through the Snacks & Drinks page. And thanks for the help!

Squads
Seniors shoot first at this meet! Starting squads for this meet are listed below. Please show up early to make sure you have plenty of time to park, get you gear together, and get to your trap on time. Please note in the tables below the trap where you'll be shooting and the estimated time when your squad is scheduled to shoot. As always, these times are approximate. Show up early! Allow time to park and get your gear in order. A good plan is to be at the event, ready to shoot at least 45 minutes before your squad's scheduled time. Check the whiteboard at your trap to see when your squad is coming up. Some traps go through their scheduled squads faster than others. Your squad might go earlier than scheduled or might be moved to a different trap by the shoot director! Please be at your assigned traps and ready to shoot by the time your squad is on deck (i.e., next to shoot). Do not arrive to your assigned trap late or you will miss your chance to shoot; there are usually no "makeups" allowed. When it's your squad's time to shoot, take both boxes of ammo with you onto the range and leave one box a few yards behind you on your starting lane, so that you can be ready to go for the next round quickly.
